The Art Of Noise were the British group behind “Close (To The Edit)” and their “Peter Gunn” with Duane Eddy, sampling pioneers who helped invent modern electronic music. The FON Mixes (1991, China Records) hands their catalog to the next wave, with mixes by The Prodigy, Carl Cox, LFO and Graham Massey.
It's electronic music, breaks and IDM, a meeting of '80s innovators and early-'90s rave heroes.
