Gems is Patti LaBelle's twelfth studio album, released by MCA Records in June 1994. The album connects her established vocal style with contemporary R&B production, including Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis's work on “The Right Kinda Lover” and Teddy Riley's production of her remake of DeBarge's “All This Love.” It reached No. 48 on the Billboard 200 and earned gold certification in the United States. This twelve-track CD also includes “Stay in My Corner,” “I Never Stopped Loving You,” and “Come As You Are,” offering a mid-1990s chapter in LaBelle's solo catalog.
