Condition grading guide

Straight out of New Orleans, Sporty-T brought the city's raw bounce and gangsta energy to Big Boy Records, the label that was a powerhouse of '90s New Orleans hip-hop, rap. Street Soldier (1997) carries the cover subtitle “Respect It Or Check It.”

Producers include Byron Jupiter, DJ Devil Red, David “D-Funk” Faulk, Ice Mike and Terrance “T-Bone” Johnson, with Charles “Big Boy” Temple and Terence “Sporty-T” Vine as executive producers. The back carries an RIP dedication to G-Slimm (10-13-96). Sporty-T himself was killed in 2008, which makes this a bittersweet piece of New Orleans history.
