Condition grading guide

The Bluebirds were Shreveport, Louisiana brothers Buddy and Bruce Flett, who cut their teeth in the club band A-Train before forming the group in 1987. South From Memphis (1996, Icehouse) was recorded in Shreveport and at Ardent Studio in Memphis, produced by Buddy Flett, with guests including Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Blind Mississippi Morris and The Memphis Horns.

It's swampy blues-rock with originals like “Cleveland, MS.” and “Tenaha Train” next to Elmore James' “Dust My Broom” and Lead Belly's “Fannin St.” Real Louisiana roadhouse music.
