Hammer/MC Hammer: Do Not Pass Me By/Pray/Son Of A King: CD Single

You can tell a lot about Hammer from Do Not Pass Me By/Pray/Son Of A King (1988): it's a hip-hop, rap single with a clear point of view. Stanley Kirk Burrell, better known by his stage name MC Hammer, is an American rapper, record producer, entrepreneur, and dancer. He is known for hit songs such as "U Can't Touch This", "Pray", "2 Legit 2 Quit" and "Pumps and a Bump", as well as flashy dance movements, extravagant choreography and his namesake Hammer pants.

There's a strong gospel streak running through it. Felton C. Pilate II, James Earley and MC Hammer produced it, and Tramaine Hawkins, Benito and The Voices show up to help carry it. Don't let this one get away.
