Orb's Pomme Fritz is presented here as a 1994 Island Records CD. The sticker on the photographed jewel case calls it “A Little Album” and advertises “42 minutes of all new mind altering electronic substances,” placing the release's electronic character directly in its original packaging. Its six-track sequence opens with “Pomme Fritz (Meat 'N Veg)” and continues through playfully named selections including “More Gills Less Fishcakes” and “Bang 'Er 'N Chips,” before closing with “His Immortal Logness.” The cover's elaborate mechanical and geometric artwork gives physical-format collectors a distinctive visual companion to this compact track sequence.
