Various Artists: Polygram Records: Jeep Tape: Cassette: Promo

The super rare and hard-to-find Jeep Tape is a 1994 PolyGram Records hip-hop, rap promotional cassette, made for the days when folks on the East Coast pumped music out of their Jeep Renegades and Wrangler trucks. Daddy-O Of Stetsasonic, Krashman, T-Max, Salt-N-Pepa's “Groove Me” and “Sexy Noises,” Da Nappy Headz and Ladae fill out the program. We held off listing it until we'd learned more about this promo, and now you have a chance to own the official “Jeep Tape” that hip-hop, rap collectors have been hunting for years. It comes in its original black (blank) paperback sleeve, and it's being sold as New (with defects): the tape is new, but it shows wear from years of storage handling because it was never placed in a protective plastic seal.
