Details
Some jazz singles fade into the background. Bone Bop by Kenny Garrett (1990) is not one of them. Kenny Garrett is an American post-bop jazz musician and composer who gained recognition in his youth as a member of the Duke Ellington Orchestra and for his time with Miles Davis's band. Garrett's primary instruments are alto and soprano saxophone and flute.
You'll hear plenty of hip-hop, rap in the mix. Donald Brown, Dodge and IG Culture worked the boards, and you can hear the care in every track. This one deserves a spot in the rotation.
