Graveyard Soldjas are a New Orleans, Louisiana rap group whose 1997 sophomore release Love and Hate on Adversity Recording Company leans into the darker end of Southern G-Funk — swirling minor-key synths and heavy bass underscoring rhyme flows that twist and snake around the beat in the regional tradition. With production rooted in G-Funk but flavored with the gritty NOLA street sensibility, the album has developed a cult following among Southern underground rap collectors. A strong regional independent find for fans of dark, hardcore Southern rap.
