Various Artists: Epic Records: Audio Buyways: Cassette

This is a 1994 Epic Records Audio Buyways promo cassette, one of the label's in-store samplers, ranging across blues-rock, alternative and dance. Little Axe, the project of former Sugar Hill house band guitarist Skip McDonald, brings “Crossfire” and “Another Sinful Day.” Satchel's “Mr. Pink,” German duo Jam & Spoon's “Right In The Night,” XC-NN, Australian teenage blues guitarist Nathan Cavaleri's “Workin' On It” and Vicious's “Freaks” follow. It's a curious mid-'90s major-label sampler.
