Various Artists: Mercury Records: This Is Mercury: Sales Compilation Tape (August 1995): Cassette

This Is Mercury: Sales Compilation Tape (August 1995) is an R&B, soul and pop sampler cassette that Mercury Records put together for its sales staff in 1995. It pairs Brian McKnight's “Crazy Love” and “On The Down Low” with Klover, Paul Brady, the poet Reg E. Gaines, Jane Kelly Williams and the Walter Beasley Project, two songs from each act. Tapes like this were made for the industry rather than the record store, which makes this one a neat time capsule of a major label's release slate.
