Pray Fi Dem is a 1993 RAS Records release by Papa San, the Kingston-born Jamaican artist Tyrone Thompson. His career developed through sound-system performances beginning in the late 1970s, followed by a Tastee Talent contest win in 1981 and a prominent place in the dancehall scene of the late 1980s and 1990s. This album belongs to that dancehall period, before his later move toward gospel following his conversion to Christianity in 1997. The ten-track CD opens with “Bad Boy Tony” and includes the title track, “Dibi Dibi DJ,” and “Clap Your Hands,” closing with “National Dish.” It offers collectors an entry into Papa San's early-1990s catalog, with this RAS edition identified by catalog number RASCD 3115.
