Details
Trendz... is the 1993 debut from Trends Of Culture, the Harlem trio of Grapevine, Nastee and DJ M.O.L., released on Mad Sounds. It's straight boom-bap from the golden era, produced by the group with Grapevine and M.O.L. at the boards, and it runs from “Who Got My Back?” and “Off & On” to the head-nodding “Valley Of The Skinz,” with a bonus mix of that one to close. It's hardcore New York hip-hop, rap from the moment uptown was all about raw beats and rhymes.
