Gregory D is a New Orleans, Louisiana rapper and one of the earliest figures in the NOLA rap scene. DJ Mannie Fresh — before his celebrated run as Cash Money Records' in-house producer — appears here in an early collaboration on this 1992 BMG/RCA Records cassette single. Crack Slanga is delivered in two versions: Single Edit and Club Mix. A rare and historically significant early New Orleans rap release, capturing Mannie Fresh before he became one of the most recognized names in Southern hip-hop production.
