Shai's Right Back At Cha (1993) is the kind of R&B album that rewards a second, third and fourth listen. Shai is an American vocal R&B/soul quartet that rose to prominence in the 1990s. The group met and formed on the campus of Howard University, influenced by the vocal stylings of Boyz II Men, Jodeci, and Color Me Badd, among others. Right Back at Cha is an album containing unreleased material, remixes and live performances of tracks from the debut album by Shai, ...If I Ever Fall in Love.

Carl "Groove" Martin, Darnell Van Rensalier and Jeff Carruthers produced it, and Ebony Vibe Everlasting show up to help carry them. One listen and you'll see why it's here.
