The name "Ansars"means helpers in Arabic and consists of Askari X, O.N.E.A.B.M., Hess, Brotha Hood, Black Ness & Big E. This is a very hard to find album and it's full of dope Revolutionary Funk by Henry E. Gaar. Askari X got his start with "The Ansars", when he was about 16 years of age. This is the 1st professional album that Askari X aka Ricky Murdock aka Ansar El Muhammad was apart of. Get this album if you have a chance to, because this is truly a piece of Northern/Bay Area rap history!
