Details
Brooklyn's Stephanie Mills was still a teenager, with a huge voice and a Motown contract, when she made For The First Time. It came out the same year she became famous as Dorothy in The Wiz on Broadway, and it pairs her with none other than Burt Bacharach & Hal David, who wrote and produced it.
It's tender R&B and soul from a future star. The back is marked (P)1975 Motown Record Company, L.P.
