Guerrilla Funk is Paris' third studio album, released through Priority Records in 1994 and produced by Paris, born Oscar Jerome Jackson, Jr. Its funk foundations include samples from Funkadelic, George Clinton, George Duke, Parliament, and the Gap Band, connecting tracks such as “It's Real,” “Guerrilla Funk,” and “Outta My Life” to a wider funk and soul lineage. “Bring It to Ya” features vocals from Carla “CMG” Green and Karryl “Special One” Smith, while Da Old Skool appears on “40 Ounces and a Fool.” This thirteen-track CD includes the Deep Fo' Real Mix of “Guerrilla Funk” and Extended Movement Mix of “It's Real.” The listed 1994 edition is distinct from the later reworked Deluxe Edition, making its original release details and mix sequence useful to collectors following Paris' catalog.
