Details
Grant Lee Buffalo's Mighty Joe Moon (1994) is the kind of rock and alternative rock album that rewards a second, third and fourth listen. Grant Lee Buffalo was an American rock band based in Los Angeles, California. Formed in 1991 from the dissolution of the earlier band Shiva Burlesque, the group's core lineup consisted of Grant-Lee Phillips, Paul Kimble (bass), and Joey Peters (drums). Mighty Joe Moon is the second studio album by American rock band Grant Lee Buffalo, released in 1994 by Slash Records and Reprise Records.
On production, Paul Kimble kept things tight. This one deserves a spot in the rotation.
