Kid Creole And The Coconuts: Kid Creole Redux: CD

Kid Creole Redux came out in 1992 as a jazz and electronic album from Kid Creole And The Coconuts, and it's aged better than most. Kid Creole and the Coconuts is an American musical group created by singer August "Kid Creole" Darnell with percussionist Andy Hernandez and singer Adriana Kaegi. Its music incorporates a variety of styles and influences, in particular a mix of disco and Latin American, Caribbean, and big band jazz in the vein of Cab Calloway. Kid Creole Redux is the second compilation album released by American musical group Kid Creole and the Coconuts. It was released in 1992.

You'll hear plenty of funk-soul and Latin in the mix. Jim Bessman, Joe McEwen and August Darnell produced it, and the sound reflects it. Grab it while this copy is still here.
