II Loaded is a New Orleans rapper released through the collaborative imprint of Dagger Zone Entertainment and Tombstone Records — the same label family responsible for notable NOLA artists including Cheeky Blakk (RIP), Felony, Da Mobstas, L.O.G., and Lokee. His 1998 debut Don't Play No Games draws comparisons to No Limit Records-era C-Murder with a hard-hitting flow layered over NOLA G-Funk laced with Bounce Music influence. The album was dedicated to Tombstone Records CEO Elton "June" Wicker, Jr., with most production handled by Merrill "Real Rock" Robinson. A deep cut for collectors of late-'90s New Orleans independent rap.
