MoKenStef: Azz Izz: CD

Long before the bins got picked over, MoKenStef gave us Azz Izz (1995) — an R&B and R&B and soul album worth tracking down. MoKenStef is an American female R&B trio from Los Angeles, active from 1994 until 2000. The group name was a combination of the first syllable of each member's name: Monifa, Kenya, and Stefanie. Azz Izz is the only studio album by American R&B group MoKenStef. It was released on July 4, 1995, through Outburst Records/Def Jam Music Group Inc. Recording sessions took place at Skip Saylor Recording and Image Recording Studio in Hollywood and Kiva Recording in Encino.

With Big Ham, Vic C and I-Roc behind the controls, the beats never let up. A worthy addition to any R&B and R&B and soul shelf.
