The Debut is a scarce 1999 independent CD by Nodis, a group from Denver, Colorado, released through Nodis Records. The album belongs to Denver’s locally built late-1990s music scene, when independent artists commonly used compact discs to circulate work outside major-label distribution. With no catalog number supplied in the available product data, this edition has the profile of a small-run release and carries particular interest for collectors of Colorado independent music. Its 12-track sequence moves from the introductory statement of “Intro” and the direct energy of “Down With It” into romantic and nightlife-centered material such as “Bedroom Eyes,” “Playa Song,” “Late Night Episode,” “You R Mine,” and “Nice & Slow.” “Latin Style,” “Keep Tha Money Flowin,” and “Summer Breeze” suggest a varied program rather than a narrowly themed release. Reliable personnel and production credits are not established in the available record, so this description preserves the confirmed Denver origin without assigning unsupported individual credits.
