Straight Up Watts is a 1992 cassette release by OFTB, also known as Out From The Bottoms. The existing listing identifies the group as Low M.B., Bustop, and Flipside from Watts, Los Angeles, and places the album in the West Coast G-funk and gang-rap tradition. Its notes credit Tee K.O., Robert Bacon, and Brian “G” with production, and Charles Smith with saxophone on “Watt's Life” and “Not for the Pop Charts.” With songs including “I Ain't From Compton” and “Poverty Stricken,” the track list keeps the focus on Watts and its neighborhood perspective. Those background and credit details come from the existing listing and have not been independently verified.
