I Am L.V. is the 1996 debut album by L.V. (Larry Sanders), released on Tommy Boy Records (catalog TBCD 1140). Best known for his hook on Coolio's 1995 smash "Gangsta's Paradise" — one of the best-selling singles of the decade — L.V. was a Los Angeles R&B singer who blended smooth vocals with West Coast hip-hop production. This album includes his own version of "Gangsta's Paradise" alongside 16 tracks of G-Funk-influenced R&B.
