P.K.O.'s Old School/Gonna Be Alright is a 1994 cassette single from the San Antonio, Texas rap group's Youngsta Records period. Both songs also appear on the group's 1994 album Tha Good, Tha Bad, Tha Mafia. This single presents “Old School” in Radio and Street Mixes on Side A, with matching Radio and Street Mixes of “Gonna Be Alright” on Side B. Pony J is credited as writer, Mike E.D. as producer for Dance & Reality, and P.K.O.'s Pony J and A.K. 47 as co-producers for Youngsta Mafia Productions. Ron C provides guest vocals on “Old School,” courtesy of Profile Records, and “Magic” Mark Outing is credited as executive producer. The cassette was recorded at Youngsta Mafia Studios in San Antonio and Goodnight Audio in Dallas, with engineering by David Rosenblad and mixing by Mike E.D. and “Magic” Mark. For collectors of mid-1990s Texas rap, the four-mix sequence and printed production credits distinguish this single from the full album release.
