Queen of the Pack is the 1993 debut album by Jamaican reggae and dancehall artist Patra, born Dorothy Smith. Having performed as Lady Patra in the late 1980s, she reached a wider audience with an album that topped the U.S. reggae albums chart. The record includes “Think (About It),” “Worker Man,” and “Romantic Call,” the latter a collaboration with rapper Yo-Yo. These singles helped connect her dancehall repertoire with U.S. rap, R&B, and dance audiences. This Epic Records CD presents thirteen listed tracks, pairing those singles with the title song, “Poor People's Song,” and “Whining Skill,” among others.
