Here's a dope and classic Oakland, California g-funk/rap/hip hop album called "The Oaktown Sound" by "Terry-T.". Terry-T. is a dope rapper and producer that has been around a long time in the music industry. He's produced for many acts including Simple E's song, "Blue Jeans", J.Dubb's "Game Related EP" album, Too Shorts "Short Records: Nationwide Independence Day" album, and many other albums/songs. Terry-T is a close friend with the Wiggins brothers (Raphael Saadiq (Charles Ray Wiggins) & D'Wayne Wiggins of Tony Toni Tone). He was once a member of Too Shorts "Dangerous Music/Crew". Terry-T and Ant Banks were co-producers of the late Oaktown rapper MC Ant's debut album called "The Great". During this time Terry-T. was M.C. Ant's Deejay and went by the name of DJ Terry-T. Basically, Mr. Terry-T. is an unheard hero of "The Oaktown Sound" (pun intended). This is Terry-T's only solo release and it is extremely hard to find. We believe that Terry-T. along with D'Wayne Wigging of Tony! Toni! Tone!, were the connection between New Jersey/California connection on Simple E's song called "East Coast/West Coast" that featured the Hayward, California rapper Spice 1. This would've been due to D'Wayne Wiggins being the Executive producer for Simple E's project and Terry T & Spice 1's ties to the Dangerous Crew. It's needless to say that Terry T produced the entire "The Oaktown Sound" album.
