The Bizzie Boyz were a New York rap group who released Droppin' It on Yo! Records in 1990, making it one of the earliest entries in the golden era of East Coast hip-hop on CD. Yo! Records — the label arm of the iconic Yo! MTV Raps brand — was a key platform for hip-hop during the genre's commercial and cultural explosion. With its blend of hard boom-bap, party tracks, and streetwise lyricism, Droppin' It is a time capsule of the turn-of-the-decade New York rap sound. Both the OG 1st pressing and the 2nd pressing are available, with the original commanding a significant collector premium.
