DJ Quik (David Marvin Blake) is a Compton, California rapper and producer widely regarded as one of the architects of West Coast G-Funk. Released in 1995 on Profile Records, this two-track cassette single delivers Safe + Sound — produced by DJ Quik with additional production by G-One — alongside the Diggin' U Out (Remix), also produced by Quik.
