Onyx — Fredro Starr, Sticky Fingaz, Big DS, and Sonee Seeza — are a South Jamaica, Queens, New York rap group who burst onto the scene with one of the most visceral and high-energy debuts in hip-hop history. Formed in 1988 and signed to Jam Master Jay's JMM Records, Throw Ya Gunz was released in 1992 and became an instant classic, paving the way for their landmark debut Bacdafucup. This is the rare original/1st pressing of the single — featuring the original artwork rather than the black background yellow cartoon face image that accompanied the 1993 re-release.
