On Ice E: Smooth Playa Shot (S%#T!): CD

Put on Smooth Playa Shot (S%#T!) and you'll hear On Ice E at full strength — a hip-hop, rap album (1996) built to last. There's a strong gangsta rap and G-funk streak running through it. On Ice E's Smooth Playa Shot (S%#T!) is a 1996 CD released through An Insight Production/An Insight Record. The cover names Playa Dave, A.I.S.S., and The Killer Klan among the featured performers, with Insight also highlighted as a guest. Its 12-track sequence begins with “Prelude (“Hustlers Convention”)” and moves through “It's On!,” “Don't Let Da 'Hood Take U Under!,” the title track, and “SWL! (Strapped Wit' Lovin'!).” The photographed packaging pairs a monochrome sunglasses portrait on the front with blue-toned rear artwork and the complete numbered track list, giving collectors both the music and its original visual presentation.

This one deserves a spot in the rotation.
