This 2003 Dharma Records CD single brings together Panjabi MC's “Jogi,” the Jay-Z remix of “Beware of the Boys,” and a Moonbootica mix of “Mundian To Bach Ke.” Originally recorded for Panjabi MC's 1998 album Legalised, “Mundian To Bach Ke” features Punjabi vocals by Labh Janjua and combines bhangra with a bass line drawing on Busta Rhymes' “Fire It Up” and the Knight Rider theme. Its international breakthrough in 2002 was followed by the 2003 Jay-Z collaboration, connecting Punjabi dance music with American hip-hop audiences. This three-track edition captures that crossover period while offering distinct tracks and remix treatments for collectors of Panjabi MC's physical singles.
