Details
By 1990 Spyro Gyra were well established as kings of smooth jazz fusion, with Buffalo roots and Jay Beckenstein's sax at the center of everything. Fast Forward on GRP has some of their warmest Latin-jazz moments, including “Para Ti Latino,” alongside “Ocean Parkway” and “Speak Easy.” The cover reads Spyro Gyra featuring Jay Beckenstein. He produced it for Crosseyed Bear Productions, with Jeremy Wall as assistant producer. The back is marked (C)1990 MCA Records, Inc./GRP Records.
