A well-produced and energetic blues outing from Artie "Blues Boy" White, released in 1994 on Waldoxy Records. White's gravelly, B.B. King-adjacent vocals ride confidently over a sharp rhythm section accented by horns and sweet backing vocals throughout. The album covers a range of styles — blues, funk, and R&B — all executed with conviction and humor. Standout track "I've Been Shackin'" delivers a fat groove and serious replay value. An underappreciated gem in the Southern blues tradition.
