Innerstate Ike hails from the Montbello neighborhood of Denver, Colorado, and As Ike Obama is his debut series installment — a CD & DVD combo pack released on Innerstate Ike/Elite Entertainment in 2009. The album features 20 tracks of Denver street rap ranging from hustle anthems ("Smile On My Face") to neighborhood chronicles ("Bellside Money Gang") to street ministry ("God's Been Good To Me"). The accompanying DVD features appearances from Michael "5000" Watts, Young Buck, Young Doe, and C-Bo, and includes rare Federal Government Discovery footage documenting federal surveillance of Ike and his associates. A unique and historically significant piece of Denver rap documentation.
