Serious Hits...Live! gathers concert performances from Phil Collins' 1990 Seriously, Live! World Tour into a hits-focused live album rather than a document of one complete show. The program spans his solo catalog, moving from “In The Air Tonight” and “Against All Odds (Take A Look At Me Now)” to “Sussudio,” “Another Day In Paradise,” and “Something Happened On The Way To Heaven.” Collins' touring ensemble included guitarist Daryl Stuermer, bassist Leland Sklar, drummer Chester Thompson, keyboardist Brad Cole, backing vocalists, and the Phenix Horns, bringing the studio repertoire into a full-band concert setting. With “You Can't Hurry Love,” “Two Hearts,” and “Easy Lover” also represented, the collection offers a stage-centered overview of his hitmaking years, closing with “Take Me Home.”
