Never Give In belongs to the early solo catalog of Birmingham reggae singer and toaster Pato Banton. Originally released in 1987, the album followed his work with Mad Professor and continued his musical connection with the Beat's Ranking Roger through “Pato and Roger Come Again,” a follow-up to their earlier collaboration “Pato and Roger a Go Talk.” Its repertoire includes the title track, “Don't Sniff Coke,” and “Hello Tosh,” bringing together Banton's storytelling, social messages, and humor. This 1988 Primitive Man Recording CD edition features twelve listed tracks, opening with “Pato and Roger Come Again” and closing with “King Step.”
