Despite being signed to Houston's legendary Rap-A-Lot Records, DMG hails from St. Paul, Minnesota — a distinction that sets him apart in the label's roster. The album was produced by N.O. Joe for Gumbo Funk Productions, Mike Dean, John Bido, and Brad "Scarface" Jordan for Jungle Style Productions, and executive produced by James "Prince J" Smith, Scarface, and Tony Randle. A raw and powerful debut from one of Rap-A-Lot's most underrated artists.
