Details
Few things beat finding a clean copy of Rare Earth's Greatest Hits And Rare Classics (1991), and this rock and funk-soul album is a prime example of why. Rare Earth is an American band from Detroit, Michigan. According to Louder, "Rare Earth's music straddles genres and defies categorisation, slipping seamlessly between the two seemingly disparate worlds of classic rock and R&B." The band was signed to Motown's subsidiary label Rare Earth.
On production, Smokey Robinson, Tom Baird and Norman Whitfield kept things tight. This one deserves a spot in the rotation.
