Head Over Heels is Paula Abdul's third studio album, released in June 1995 following Spellbound. For the project, Abdul returned to working with a wider range of producers and took a more involved role in shaping the production. The pop-centered album draws on soul, hip-hop, Latin, and Middle Eastern musical elements, with singles including “My Love Is for Real,” “Crazy Cool,” and “Ain't Never Gonna Give You Up.” It reached No. 18 on the Billboard 200 and earned U.S. gold certification, while “My Love Is for Real” topped the U.S. dance club chart. This fourteen-track Virgin Records CD also includes “Under the Influence,” “Missing You,” and the closing “Cry for Me,” presenting a mid-1990s chapter in Abdul's recording career.
