Steady B: Steady B V: CD

Here's a super hard to find Philadelphia, PA rap/hip hop classic called, “Steady B V”, which stands for Steady B's fifth album. Steady B is a Philly legend who hails from the Hilltop Hustlers and C.E.B./CEB (Countin' Endless Bank) crews. This album features funky production by Lawrence “L.G. The Teacher” Goodman and Steady B himself. Steady B and his running mate Cool C are both serving life sentences for armed robbery. Steady B V is a 1991 Steady B album on Jive Records. This CD comes in a longbox, and it was produced, arranged and mixed by Warren (Steady B) McGlone for Hilltop Hustlers Productions, with Lawrence (L.G. The Teacher) Goodman co-producing select tracks. It was recorded and mixed at Kajem Victory Studios in Philadelphia, and the back is marked (P)(C)1991 Zomba Recording Corp. Steady B came up in Philadelphia's first wave of hip-hop, rap stars in the mid-to-late '80s, alongside Schoolly D, the Fresh Prince and Three Times Dope. By 1991 he was leaning into more conscious themes, which makes this a fascinating chapter in Philly rap history.
