1 Of The Girls is the 1993 self-titled debut album by the Cleveland, Ohio R&B group 1 Of The Girls, released on EastWest Records/Trevel Production. Emerging during the golden era of R&B girl groups alongside SWV, Brownstone, and Blackgirl, the group was produced largely by Cleveland native Gerald Levert. The album showcases strong individual vocal performances across a range of styles — from the funky "Do Da What?" and confrontational "Ain't Giving Up Nothing" to the jazzy "When We Kiss" and tender ballad "Will You Be Mine" — a rare and underappreciated gem of early 1990s R&B.
