Ron Banks (R.I.P.) and L.J. Reynolds hail from Detroit, Michigan. Ron Banks was the founder of the legendary soul group called, "The Dramatics". L.J. Reynolds would become a member of The Dramatics after original members, William "Wee Gee" Howard (R.I.P) and Elbert Wilkins (R.I.P) left the group. The Dramatics were responsible for the song, "In The Rain", which Keith Sweat would later revisit, "All Because of You", "Toast the Fool", "Me and Mrs. Jones (originally by Billy Paul) and their first platinum selling single, "Whatcha See Is Whatcha Get"!!!
In 1993 Ron Banks would appear on the track/in the Video, "Doggy Dogg World" for Snoop Doggy Doggs debut album "Doggystyle". Ron Banks would reappear on Snoops 6th album, "Paid Tha Cost To Be Tha Boss" on the track, "Ballin", which was produced by Battlecat.
