Details
Philadelphia DJ King Britt, who toured the world as the DJ for Digable Planets, created Sylk 130 as his love letter to the music he grew up on. This 1997 Columbia CD single is his house and downtempo take on the classic “Last Night A DJ Saved My Life,” with Josh Wink among the executive producers.
The song also appears on the Sylk 130 album When The Funk Hits The Fan.
