Details
Few things beat finding a clean copy of Bobby Brown's King Of Stage (1986), and this funk-soul and pop album is a prime example of why. King of Stage is the debut solo album by American R&B singer Bobby Brown. Following his exit from New Edition, and at 16, Brown signed a solo deal with the group's label MCA Records, which had earlier promised Brown a solo deal if he decided to leave New Edition. His first solo album was released in 1986.
There's a strong contemporary R&B streak running through it. On production, Larry White, Dave Ogrin and Kevin Kendrick kept things tight. Don't let this one get away.
