Here is a Vallejo (Hill Side), California G-Funk, Mobb Funk, Underground Rap/Hip Hop classic album called "The Mail Man" by the leader of "The Click" rap group's very own "E-40". Earl "E-40" Stevens is one of the dopest MC's to ever touch the mic. His street savvy lyrics and dope beat selection has always been Buck Rogers (light years) ahead of time. He has provided ample amounts of linguistics to the rap/music industry and the world at large. This is E-40's 3rd solo release! Yes, his 3rd! Do the math, before you challenge our knowledge on E-40's catalog. [Prior Releases: Mr. Flamboyant EP (1991), Federal (1993, but it was really released in 1992. for some reason the post dated copyrights back in the days)]. "The Mail Man" album was released twice. This 1st Pressing/original version was put out solely by "Sick Wid' It" Records and contains 6 songs. The 2nd pressing/version was the first album to be distributed by Jive Records and contains 2 bonus tracks called "Ballin' Outta Control" and "Captain Save A Hoe" Remix. Both versions have slightly different artwork, but that's another conversation. This album contains the song, "Captain SAve A Hoe", which inspired Master P's song "Captain Kirk" on his Ghetto Dope" album. This album features other notable underground rappers like Kaveo & Young Mugzi of The Mossie, D-Shot, B-Legit & Suga-T of the Click! "The Mail Mail contains mob funk production by Studio Ton for Ton Only Production and E-40 for E-Forty Productions
