Few things beat finding a clean copy of K-G The Gingerbread Man's 4 Mine Enimes (2000), and this hip-hop, rap album is a prime example of why. K-G The Gingerbread Man hails from Ethel, Louisiana, bringing a distinctly Bayou flavor to the G-Funk tradition. His 2000 release 4 Mine Enimes on G-Status Records features swampy, slow-rolling production from Doc Know, Fresh One, and Tru Dawg — a production trio that understood how to make bass-heavy G-Funk hit different in the Louisiana lowlands. K-G's rhymes are raw and rooted, layered over beats that slap with regional authenticity. An extremely rare regional Louisiana rap collectible that's genuinely hard to come by.
A keeper, plain and simple.
