Sugafoot & Spyda of The Gotti Click hail from New Orleans, Louisiana. Their 2001 independent release on G-Boyz Records is firmly rooted in the NOLA G-Funk and bounce tradition of hip-hop, rap.
Their style carries a strong resemblance to Magnolia Slim aka Soulja Slim: raw, street-level rhymes over hard-hitting production that captures the energy of the New Orleans streets in the early 2000s. It's an extremely hard to find gem from the N.O. underground.
